The current
economic landscape has forced many companies to scale back or eliminate
hiring programs. We are proud that we are growing and are recruiting
and training the next generation of coal miners and support personnel.
In 2009, Alliance added more than 140 employees, and as River View
continues to scale towards full production and as development of our
Tunnel Ridge complex continues, Alliance expects to create as many as
400 new jobs by the end of 2010.
